Kate Roberts

Kate Roberts joined McMahan Winstead & Richardson in 2023. Balancing her love for critical writing, strategic communications and political risk management Kate found her niche in government relations work in 2022 and has never looked back. Kate’s first government role was an associate at Lunik AU, an international government relations firm with headquarters in the US and AU. There Kate was trained through a bipartisan lens to best utilize government policy to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate barriers for corporate clients. Since joining the firm, Kate has held a strategic role utilizing both her background in corporate communication and government relations to best serve and engage with a variety of McMahan Winstead & Richardson clients and manage internal affairs.

Kate grew up in the foothills of Angels Camp, CA and is a 2022 graduate of the University of San Diego with a B.A. in Strategic Communication and Public Relations. While attending USD, Kate was awarded department honors and contributed as a published author in USD school news paper. While perusing an education in Strategic Communication, Kate balanced part time work with Lunik AU while also maintaining a presence on campus in participating in several sports clubs.

At her core Kate is driven, determined, and dedicated to bring energy and adaptability to McMahan Winstead & Richardson and the firm’s work within Tennessee state government.
