Kate Roberts joined McMahan Winstead & Richardson in 2023, where she works with clients across Tennessee to develop legislative strategy, manage government relations, and build strong relationships with policymakers and key policy teams. She began her government relations career in 2022 with Lunik AU, an international government relations firm, where she was trained to approach advocacy through a bipartisan lens and help corporate clients capitalize on opportunities and navigate policy challenges. Since joining MWR in 2023, Kate has focused on client relations, issue research, and strategic planning, working closely with policymakers, state agencies, and stakeholder groups throughout the legislative process.
Kate graduated magna cum laude from the University of San Diego with a B.A. in Strategic Communication and Public Relations. She brings a thoughtful, strategic approach to public affairs, combining strong communication skills with a relationship-driven mindset. Her ability to navigate complex issues, build strong partnerships, and adapt to evolving policy priorities makes her a valuable member of the McMahan Winstead & Richardson team.
