Caroline Simmons is a licensed attorney who has been with McMahan Winstead & Richardson since 2012. She began her career in politics in 2008 working on a successful, closely-contested state senate campaign, and she has since built a reputation for guiding legislation skillfully across an exceptionally broad range of clients.
Caroline earned her B.A. in Political Science from Sewanee: The University of the South and her J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where she represented low-income clients in the Wills and Estates Clinic. She brings legal precision, strategic insight, and a practical, results-oriented approach to every client engagement. Over the course of her career, Caroline has earned a reputation as a trusted and effective advocate who understands both the legislative process and the relationships that drive it.
